Aquarium Programs
At the Aquarium there is an array of programs available such as interpretive guides for the Aquarium tanks, explanations with feeding, and churaumi theater.
Life in Inoh (Touch Pool) Touch and experience about marine life
We have reserved time for our keeper to hold explanations on aspects of the marine life. Questions about the characteristics of the marine life here explained in easy-to-understand terms. Feel free to ask questions!

The Coral SeaApproximately 70 species of living coral
There are explanations to help visitors better understand the various kinds of coral and their characteristics, and other marine life living here.

Churaumi TheaterAn impressive Hi-Vision experience
Churaumi Theater shows you many different of marine life found in Okinawan beautiful seas on Hi-vision video, which runs approximately 20 minutes.
The audio Guide (PDA) in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean is available.

The Kuroshio Sea A dynamic world of migratory fish
Four times each day, an explanation of the tank is given in front of the gigantic Kuroshio sea gallery. At 3 and 5 o'clock an explanation of the Whale Shark and Manta Ray feeding habits is featured as well.

Exploring the Kuroshio FreelyUnique view from way up on the observation deck!
This is a popular program "Exploring the Kuroshio Sea Tank" in which you can see the gigantic tank from the observation deck freely.Explanations are available at the observation deck.
Enter from the 1st floor elevator near by the Whale Shark and Manta Ray Corner.

Aqua LabDeepen your knowledge at the Aquarium laboratory
Our keeper explains in easy-to-understand terms about sea creatures, with a microscope and video. The theme changes every times, and we draw on a variety of fields for a wide-ranging discussion of the ocean life found here.
